Jean Muir
March 6, 2001
From its famous base in London’s Bruton Street, the house of Jean Muir sent out a typically chic collection for spring/summer 2002, based on a perfectly simple silhouette of perfectly simple separates: the shelltop or jersey vest was beautifully cut to skim not hug the body; pants were mostly wide, varying from Capri-length to floor; there was the hip-length tunic top, round-necked, slightly flared, discreetly placket-fronted and bracelet-sleeved, sometimes vented, sometimes piped in white and always cinched with a thin fabric belt.
When it comes to fulfilling the house’s late founder’s lasting mission, to be evolutionary not revolutionary and offer a devoted clientele clothes to look elegant and intelligent in, this team knows exactly what they’re doing.

Where can I buy secondhand Jean Muir dresses?

Hi Carol, if you’re looking for secondhand I’d try Ebay as a starting point. Just carried out a quick search on Ebay UK and it returned over 30 items. Might be a good place to start.
